Look closely – the dark green grass is from the seed to fill in areas where there was no grass. The open spots I have in my lawn are from recently pulling out weeds. I’m going to throw some seed on those areas to fill it in. Be aware, the seed produces REALLY DARK GREEN GRASS and grows well. I hope it takes over my light green grass. I highly recommend using it during the rainy season, starting in January and on your entire lawn area so you don’t get the look I got, lol. Does not need a lot of sun to grow. You need to water twice daily (when applying new seed) for a couple weeks for best results. You may need to apply twice for it to grow in thicker.

If you’re looking to grow a nice lawn, this seed really works. The only problem is keeping my dogs off it! The grass came in thick, dark green, and healthy. All I used was a little peat moss when planting, and it took off. Even with the Arizona sun, it had no trouble growing. Very happy with the results.

Honestly… I’m shocked! I’ve always struggled with growing grass from seed, but I decided to give this product a try and couldn’t be happier with the results. I seeded the area on Tuesday, didn’t water it two or three times a day, didn’t even cover it with extra soil, and the weather has been pretty cold on and off.

Today (Sunday), I walked outside and took a closer look after giving the lawn a fresh haircut… lol. I was amazed to see new grass already sprouting! We only had a couple of light rain showers, with one heavier rain yesterday, but this seed is really performing well.

I’m excited to see how it looks in another week, but so far I’m extremely impressed.
