This Asian pumpkin has a similar flavor and charm to Musquee de Provence, but with an earlier maturity date making it better suited for growers with shorter growing seasons. Beautiful gray-to-blush coloration with a cloudy bloom on the surface. Uniform, high yields on resilient vines. Hardiness Zones
Zones 3–12 (Warm-Season Annual). Highly sensitive to frost. Wait for soil to warm and all danger of frost to pass before planting outdoors.
Sowing Method
Direct Seed: Sow late spring when soil is >70°F (21°C). Sow 2 seeds 1/2-1" deep; thin to 1 plant.
Transplant: Sow 2-3 seeds per 2" container 3 weeks prior to planting. Thin with scissors. Minimal root disturbance is crucial.
Temperatures
Optimum Germination: 86–95°F (30–35°C). Requires warm soil for rapid, even emergence. Harden off transplants 4-7 days prior to planting out.

Extra Long Vine: Requires significant space. Allow 12' between rows. In-row spacing should be 24-36" to accommodate plant size and maximize yield.
